Windsurfing
Bewl Water
Start Windsurfing is taught in small groups by RYA qualified instructors. You can expect to gain your certificate at the end of a weekend course. Small lightweight sails are used to start you off and then you can try larger sails and go faster! You will get wet so you must wear a wet suit. If you do not have one, or cannot borrow one, you can hire one from us for £5 per day. Let us know when booking. For those who show fast progress more advanced tuition can be provided. Book early as places are limited.
Courses 1, 2, 3 , 4, 5 & 6 are full weekend courses for 'Start Windsurfing'.

Applications only accepted on application forms with the full (non-returnable) course fee. Please enclose a large stamped addressed envelope so that booking confirmation and joining instructions can be sent to you.

Windsurfing Permit Assessment - Bewl
Various water activity assessment opportunities have been provided during the year as part of the introduction of the Adventurous Activity Permit scheme. During this event members will be able to demonstrate their skills and aptitude to taking scouts afloat. (see factsheet FS 120100). Alternative dates can be agreed directly with the appropriate assessor if required.
