- It does not allow you to take part in jet ski activities with anyone not holding a jet ski permit.
Leadership Permit, allows the permit holder to lead personal watercraft activities for a single craft
- You can only look after only one craft at a time.
- You need to remain on the water with this craft all the time.
Supervisory Permit, allows the permit holder to remotely supervise personal watercraft activities with up to 3 craft
- If a craft is a multi people craft, a designated leader for that craft must be appointed, this designation only last for the current activity.
- The designated leader should have the necessary skills and be responsible enough to lead that craft in the class of water being used.
- All supervised boats should be within communication range of the permit holder
- The permit holder will need to be in or have immediate access to a rescue craft (may be a jet ski) and be in a position to provide prompt assistance if required.
