The sun shone and hundreds of people descended on the village green at Bearsted.  The Kent Scout tombola did a roaring trade and made a profit of £111 for the kitchen equipment fund at Lower Grange Farm.  Thanks to the team of Ken, Bunty and Jim for all their help setting up, running it and clearing away!

The Maidstone Gang show performed a selection of songs from the show in the arena to the delight of the assembled crowds.  Bearsted Scout Group are the main beneficiaries from the fete funds this year - well done to them for running the barbecue all day - they didn't stop flipping burgers from start to finish!
