We will be holding a Cub Leader Conference on the 30th April at Lower Grange Farm.

All Cub Leaders, Assistants, ADC's and Young Leaders are welcome.

This Conference will differ from the usual as we hope that it will be very hands on, whilst arming you with the information you need to support yourselves and the young people you work with.

We will be covering many areas, including youth participation, how to tackle the new challenge badges, Youth Shaped ideas and skill bases on offer.

This is free of charge for you to attend. If you have any questions or anything in particular you would like us to cover, please email ACC Cubs - Graham & Hannah

As is the norm, we have camping available to all persons OVER 18 YEARS OLD, for the Saturday night. Arrive from 4pm, pitch your tent then come and join us for a BBQ and Campfire! :-)

After the hectic couple of years we have all had celebrating the Centenary, we decided that we wanted to offer a day out that would pack in a huge amount of fun but be gentle on your budgets. So, on 13th May 2017 the Kent Cub Team are hosting a special day out at Leeds Castle, Maidstone and we hope that you and your Cub Scouts will want to join us and invade this historic landscape with a sea of green jumpers!

Leeds Castle offers something for everyone; there's the castle itself and all the historic rooms to discover, 500 acres of beautiful park land to explore with plenty of native wildlife to meet and feed, an exciting maze, playgrounds, special exhibitions and much more. The park is open from 10 – 6 and we will confirm what time you can register with us on your final details nearer the time.

For a special price of £9.50 per person, with 1 free adult for every set of 8 Cubs on your Pack's booking, this represents excellent value for money and is a huge saving on usual prices.  The price includes:-

  • Entry fee to Leeds Castle and all that it has to offer as outlined above
  • We will also have access to special falconry displays put on for us
  • You will meet King Henry VIII!
  • Commemorative souvenir for all participants
  • The chance to meet and share in the adventure with Cubs from all across Kent

Please remember when planning your trip that there is a ratio of 1 adult to every 8 Cubs, with one additional EXTRA adult overall. The ratio must be met by your booking.

Please note that as this trip could become big in numbers, we have been asked to limit the number of cars coming onto the site on the day due to the impact it will have on the car park. We therefore need to ask you to arrive in coaches/minibuses/leader cars as much as humanly possible. We will provide parking permits nearer the time and provide instructions etc for where we will be parking.

The closing date is 7th April 2017 so there’s no time to lose!

We look forward to seeing you all there!
