BIG LITTER PICNIC in your local District! #BigLitterPicnic
We are planning a community event to raise funds for our local Scout districts and Kent Scouts. The idea of the BIG LITTER PICNIC is to get sponsored to carry out a litter pick in a suitable park, beach or open space in your local district. Then reward all your participants with a Picnic or BBQ. See the PDF Factsheet for more details.
If your group, section or District are willing to step up and take part in our Community Impact Day please register your interest at this stage with Alan Noake ACC (Global Projects & Community Impact) . Like last year we are also looking for ambassadors to coordinate their District participation. Together we can be a really powerful force for good.
We would like to invite you to #Skills4Leaders a FREE event at Lower Grange Farm on Sunday the 29th September 2019 from 10am to 3pm.
#Skills4Leaders will provide you with the tools, training and resources to deliver a challenging, relevant and rewarding programme for all sections.

An International Scout Active Support Unit (SASU) has been created to coordinate all international opportunities across Kent Scouts. Whether you are looking for ideas to run an evening programme or want to be part of a global challenge, we hope to give you the right pointers here.
We change lives by offering 6 to 25-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities.
Activities as diverse as kayaking, abseiling, expeditions overseas, photography, climbing and zorbing. Also can learn survival skills, first aid and much more.
There's something for every young person. It's a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world.
This everyday adventure is possible thanks to our adult volunteers, who support us in a wide range of roles from working directly with young people, to helping manage a Group, to being a charity Trustee.
We help volunteers get the most out of their experiences by providing opportunities for adventure, training, fun and friendship.
There is no requirement to have been involved in Scouting before joining. All that is required is a willingness to volunteer some time to support Scouting.
