World's Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan
The Scout Active Support team are organising a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan. Pop along for a cuppa and a cake! There will be a raffle too and prizes gratefully accepted on the day or beforehand.
27th September from 10am - 1pm at Lower Grange Farm in the barn.
#Skills4Leaders is a FREE event being held at Lower Grange Farm on Sunday the 29th September.
This will provide you with the tools, training and resources to deliver a challenging, relevant and rewarding programme for all sections. Click on the picture for more details and how to book your place.
A community event to raise funds for our local Scout districts and Kent Scouts. The idea is to get sponsored to carry out a litter pick in a suitable park, beach or open space in your local district. Then reward all your participants with a Picnic or BBQ. More Details (PDF)
Beavers are usually aged between 6 and 8 years old, though they can be as young as five and three quarters. Make friends and try new indoor and outdoor activities.
Cubs are young people aged between 8 and 10½, who make up the second section of the Scouting family. Learn practical skills while having adventures with friends.
Anyone aged between 14 and 18 can be an Explorer Scout. Take the lead, work together, and embrace new experiences.
If you're aged between 18 and 25 years old and really want to get out into the world, have a great time whilst doing the some of things you love. Hone employability skills and achieve top awards.
This everyday adventure is possible thanks to our adult volunteers, who support us in a wide range of roles from working directly with young people, to helping manage a Group, to being a charity Trustee.
We help volunteers get the most out of their experiences by providing opportunities for adventure, training, fun and friendship.
There is no requirement to have been involved in Scouting before joining. All that is required is a willingness to volunteer some time to support Scouting.
