County Programme Team Leader - Adventure

Could you step up and take the lead as Kent Scouts County Programme Team Leader for Adventure?
Kent Scouts is one of the largest Scout counties in the UK, providing Skills For Life to almost 17,000 young people and 6,000 adult volunteers. Programme is at the heart of what we do, providing young people with the opportunity to gain new skills.
As we adjust post Transformation, we are looking to build a strong team to support our volunteers and young people across the County of Kent. As part of that we have split the previous role of County Programme Team Leader into two roles. One for 'Delivery' and one for 'Adventure'.
Could this be your next step in your volunteering journey within Kent Scouts?
The County Programme Team Leader - Adventure oversees adventurous activities and international opportunities for young people, including managing the following teams:
- Air Activities Team
- Land Activities Team
- Water Activities Team
- Visits Abroad Team
- Nights Away Team
- Jamborees Team
- Kent International Jamboree Team
Becoming County Programme Team Leader is right for you if...
You enjoy:

- Good knowledge of the Scout programme
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong commitment to Scout values and providing and promoting new programme opportunities
How we'll support you?
We'll support you with an induction plan, mentoring and training, so you'll enjoy volunteering as you develop skills and experience in the role.
