7th October 2023

What an exciting year it has been!
As always loads has happened across the County during 2022/23.
To show case everything from camps, to growing districts and many other adventures in between below is our Annual Review booklet for 2023.
"Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to support scouting across the county. From organizing international trips to providing essential training support, we’ve strived to enhance all aspects of the scouting program across all sections.
One of our proudest achievements has been the successful launch of our newest section, Squirrels, catering to 4-6-year-olds. Its rapid growth and expansion across the county reflect the enthusiasm and demand for scouting among our youngest members.
Our commitment to development extends to our team as well. We’ve harnessed technology to deliver development training, ensuring that local scouting continues to grow and thrive.
Lower Grange Farm remains a cornerstone of our support to scouting in Kent. It not only functions as a thriving business but also serves as a hub for county events, district activities, and sections seeking a place to camp or hold special meetings.
Within this review, you’ll witness the outstanding work of our districts, the heartbeat of our county. They’ve been instrumental in driving scouting locally, ensuring the success of scouting groups and sections.
On a final note, I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our adult volunteers, from the unsung heroes on trustee boards to dedicated section leaders. It’s your unwavering dedication that makes it possible for young people to embark on a scouting adventure, gaining skills that will serve them for a lifetime. Thank you for your incredible contributions." - Dean, County Commissioner
