First aid course booking

Please check you book the correct course.

The course most people need is First Aid - Complete Course (10A & B) this is the 6 hour face to face course which covers the theory and practical demonstration.

Some people who have either completed the theory Module 10A sessions, Life Support, Trauma and Injury and Major Illness, either online on the occasional courses run by the County or the blended model run by HQ need to demonstrate CPR and recovery position by attending First Aid - Practical Demonstration (10B) which is a 20 minute session for you to demonstrate your skill (or if physically unable, describe the process to the trainer). There is no training during this session.

You may also need First Aid - Practical Demonstration (10B) if you have completed an external course that didn’t cover all of the requirements of First Response, e.g. child CPR.
