Lion Aid Challenge

For 2023 our Kent Scouts Community Impact event can be held any time during October - we encourage Districts, Groups, Sections and individuals to take part and support Kent-based charity LIONAID.

To earn the badges (see image below) participants must complete ALL of the following tasks:

  • Learn about lions in the wild and their plight
  • Investigate why there is a need for LionAid
  • Organise a debate or discussion about lions
  • Night of fun & educational lion themed activities
  • Answer a set of quiz questions about lion facts
  • Illustrate a poster about the issues facing lions
  • Donate or FUNDRAISE £5 or more for LIONAID*

*ONE BADGE WILL BE ISSUED FOR EVERY PARTICIPANT WHO RAISES £5 or more for LIONAID.
