09/19/2025 18:30 09/21/2025 00:00 Europe/London IMC September event Hill Walking IMC Hill walking trip to the Brecon Beacons 19th–21st September Camping • Self-catered •  14+ Plas Dolygaer Scout Centre is our base, deep in the Brecon Beacons on the edge of the Pontsticill Reservoir with easy access to both the classic Beacons Horseshoe (Including Pen-y-Fan) or the hills and waterfalls above Talybont The beautiful Ystradfellte waterfalls are also a short drive away and a great option for Sunday morning Experienced, authorised adults will be in charge of each walking group (4 – 8 people) and the informal training will include [winter] walking skills, route planning, route choice, navigation, leadership and teamwork The weekend typically provides a full day in the hills on Saturday and a half-day on Sunday before returning home at around 14 00 All meals must be provided by the participants: two breakfasts, Saturday evening dinner and packed lunches for both days, as well as food (or money) for the two journeys The minibus will stop during during each journey at motorway service areas There are no shops in the immediate area More details and application forms will be posted on the IMC website and you can sign-up to our mailing list to be notified when applications open

Hill Walking

IMC Hill walking trip to the Brecon Beacons 19th–21st September
