Take your Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers on an adventure with the brand new KSS Mission Badge!

Earn the badge by taking on a series of missions. 

Each mission offers a unique insight into the lifesaving operations of KSS and covers everything from when and how to call 999, to knowing how to help save the life of someone in cardiac arrest, learning some basic aviation skills and the importance of staying fit and healthy for a career in Helicopter Emergency Medical Services.

Choose your missions

There are five sections to explore, each filled with different levels of missions so you can take on the challenge that suits you best.

Mission levels at a glance:

  • Easy - Squirrels and Beavers
  • Medium - Cubs
  • Hard -  Scouts
  • Advanced - Explorers


To earn your badge, you'll need to complete:

  • One mission from Section 1
  • One mission from Section 3
  • One mission from Section 5
